As requested, an updated text... I've had to upload this as a .txt because .html is not valid (understandably).

Thanks a million, mate!

My personal preference is British English, since I never studied American English and I also lived and worked in Louth, Lincolnshire for some time (plus, I have family near Oxford), so I got pretty much used to saying "prawns with chips" instead of "shrimps with French fries" Wink. Jice, OTOH, uses American English, but we agreed on using British English throughout the source code. The documentation might as well follow that rule, although I find this of minor importance.

Again, thanks for the effort. Umbra is nearing the point when it's releaseable, so I'll probably be working quite intensively on the documentation.

@george:
Thanks for your comment on the TiddlyWiki. If only its name wasn't so ridiculous Cheesy

SquigglyChicky
...

The Python version wasn't planned initially, but now that you mention it... Jice, what do you say? Shall I learn Python? Wink

Too late, Jice. Scautura is in the credits already. I'm going to commit the updated readme in a moment Tongue

I'll try and go through the latest readme sometime this weekend - life has been a little hectic for me recently, what with being in several betas and having various work issues (fortunately, my wife's... Unfortunately, we work at the same place).

I'm not shirking my duties, honest!

Thanks, mate, I appreciate your effort. The readme hasn't changed much in the last two weeks, just check the timeline. I was in Germany, and this week I was working on new features (interactive objects inside widgets: checkboxes, pushbuttons...) and we've started a subproject based on Umbra and included in its SVN repository: a FOV benchmark tool with a nice GUI. I believe the readme isn't going to be updated during the weekend, so take your time Smiley. Cheers!

It's been a while, I was drawn in by Champions Online, then just wasn't in the mood for much else for a while... Now I've been drawn in by Star Trek Online, Mass Effect (finally finished 1 and moved on to 2), and might be getting back to coding.

Here is a newly proofread version of the readme (hoping you haven't got much further since the last updates!), and I've grabbed the code and been looking through it. I had to fiddle a bit to get it working (LibTCod 1.5.0 in a folder labelled as 1.4.3 so I didn't have to dig through the C::B project too much, and copied the DLLs) but I like where it's going. I'll enjoy working with it, once I know more about how to work with it. Smiley

Hey, thanks! The project has been on hold for quite a while now. We're not sure about how to tackle the widget system and instead are both focusing our efforts on libtcod. I'm hoping to get back to coding Umbra soon though. Thanks for your help - we'll notify you when there's more Smiley.
